Great tasting, award winning food for everyone
cookroom's larder is full of tasty and wholesome home baking and food that is produced using as many locally sourced ingredients as possible.We are proud to be a small independent producer, where the quality and provenance of our products comes first.
Our aim has always been simple - to make great tasting food that people will love, with all of it being made without wheat and gluten.
The food is prepared in the cookroom kitchen located in the heart of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. Not only does the food taste and look good but the views from the kitchen are stunning too!
Our resident cook, Morag, developed an intolerance to wheat and gluten and quickly realised there was a very limited choice of cakes, pastries, savoury tarts, snacks and main meals available to people with this food allergy.
Her ambition and challenge was to change this, resulting in the launch of cookroom in January 2008. Within six months cookroom had won their first UK Great Taste Gold Award, and has picked up further gold awards each year since.

we cater for events and functions at a venue of your choice from weddings to birthday celebrations or an intimate dinner party.
we run hands on baking classes teaching others how to be part of the great baking revival !
